Robyn's Runner  - Using one panel of my sashiko - kiwi style Robyn has created a long runner 58” x 20” (1.47m x .51m) complete with a tassel at either end.

Charm square table runner.  This is a Moda Bakehouse free pattern.  Great for any charm square pack or you could cut your own fabric into strips.  Happy stitching.

'In the Pink' quilt using the nesting hexagons.
This quilt was made using the 10" & 8" hexagons and I crazy pieced the 8" hexagon having fun with all the fancy stitches on my new Bernina.

The pattern will feature in the March 2011 issue of the Australian Quilter's Companion magazine.

Fabric Baskets using just one fabric fat quarter. 
I remember making these baskets as a child and by using either Christmas fabric or kiwiana fabric you have a delightful and original container for chocolates (what else!), shortbread or other culinary delights. Wrap in cellophane and tie with an appropriate ribbon and you have gift with the Wow! factor.

Christmas place mats.  A mere 1.2m will make six placemats.  Or use .6m of two different fabrics and make them reversable.  The free pattern shows seven other colourways - I just couldn't decide which ones I liked the best!
