Cut foundation paper using the large diamond.
Cut dark fabric from other template and lay across middle of diamond. Build up the diamond with striped piecing and recut raggy edges to shape with the diamond template.
Stitching together is rather like very large baby blocks. Interesting effect happens when the centre plain piece matches.
Three spider web shapes make one hexagon and when you sew the hexagons together you the quilt design below.
Diamond template measures 11¼" x 6½" including seam allowances.
3mm thick acrylic templates.
All templates include ¼” seam allowance.
Grips on reverse to stop template slipping while cutting with a rotary cutter.
